Earlier this week Charles “Krazy Horse” Bennett spoke to MMA Weekly and made some interesting comments regarding his upcoming bout on December 11th in Fresno, CA against King of the Cage Bantamweight Champion Urijah Faber.
In his interview Bennett said, “I’m going to beat him and knock his ass out. He’s just too pretty. If you are that pretty you should be modeling or something not fighting. I will knock out the prettiness right out of him. This will be a quick fight.”
Not one to sit idly by and let someone talk smack about him, Urijah Faber had this to say in response to Bennett’s comments, “I’m looking forward to this fight with Krazy Horse, it’ll be an exciting fight so I’m always looking forward to that. He’s called me, he’s got my phone number and we’ve had a couple of conversations where he’s basically said he wants my belt, so if he’s going to be gunning for my gold belt I’ll be gunning for his gold teeth.”
Faber continued, “I’m looking forward to having an exciting fight, there’s going to be some big slams and some big punches and a victory for me. I’m looking to knock those suckers out (of his mouth) and take them home with me.”
Urijah also cleared up a bit of confusion to whether or not this fight will indeed be a title match. “It’s a Gladiator Challenge event but I hold the KOTC (Bantamweight, 145lbs) Title, so I’m not sure what’s up with that. You never know with these shows sometimes. I was going to move up (in weight) for this fight, but if he wants to come down to 145lbs I’ll be happy to defend the title against him.”
