Disappointment reigned in the Dream middleweight title bout on Tuesday. An illegal kick by Jason “Mayhem” Miller early in the bout left Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza with a cut on his head that would eventually cause a halt to the bout. It was then ruled a no contest.
In the Featherweight Grand Prix, Japanese fan favorite Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto was overcome by American upstart Joe Warren. Joining Warren in the semi-finals in September are Hideo Tokoro, Hiroyuki Takaya, and Bibiano Fernandes.
