Evolve MMA is looking to add 15 more martial artists to its fight team and will be holding tryouts in June. The Singapore based camp has sprung to prominence in recent years and already boasts Ben Askren, Tarec Saffiedine, Shinya Aoki, and Rafael dos Anjos on its roster.
The tryouts will take place on the weekend of June 21-22 and are by invitation only with interested fighters invited to apply here. They will take place in Singapore and be overseen by Evolve MMA head coach Heath Sims.
The most recent addition to the Evolve MMA Fight Team was Singaporean teenager Benedict Ang, and Sims is constantly on the hunt for potential future champions.
“We are continuously looking to expand the Evolve Fight Team and to help more fighters unleash their potential,” he said. “The selected athletes will have unlimited access to our world renowned championship training schedule, state-of-the-art facilities, and will see themselves training alongside the very best in the business, such as Ben Askren, Tarec Saffiedine, Shinya Aoki, Yodsanan Sityodtong, Namsaknoi Yudthagarngamtorn, Eddie Ng, Leandro Ataides, Jake Butler, Leandro Issa, Irshaad Sayed, and many others.”
The press release stated that successful applicants will have the opportunity to earn a high salary and free corporate housing, and Sims says they will also have an excellent chance of securing a contract with a big MMA organization.
“The selected athletes will also have their careers managed and will potentially have an opportunity to compete in the world’s largest fight organizations such as ONE FC and UFC. In addition, they will also have an amazing opportunity to help change the lives of our students through martial arts as full-time instructors at Evolve MMA,” added Sims.
