MMAWeekly.com is bringing you results and live play-by-play of tonight’s CBS-EliteXC Saturday Night Fights, which is scheduled to feature Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson vs. Ken Shamrock in the main event.

A final decision has been made keeping Ken Shamrock from competing in tonight’s scheduled bout with Kimbo Slice at CBS-EliteXC Saturday Night Fights in Sunshine, Fla. MMAWeekly.com confirmed that Shamrock is out and a fighter from the preliminary card has been tapped as his replacement.

EliteXC announced that Seth Petruzelli, who was to fight Aaron Rosa on the preliminary card, has been approved to square off with Kimbo in the main event in Shamrock’s place.

PLAY-BY-PLAY:

Main Card:

-Kevin “Kimbo Slice” Ferguson vs. Seth Petruzelli

R1 – Kimbo shoots in and Petruzelli lands a short right hand that stuns him. Petruzelli follows up with multiple unanswered strikes and the ref is force to stop it.

-Jake Shields vs. Paul Daley

R1 – Shields throws some kicks early. Jake attempts a single leg but Daley sprawls well. Shields gets a single leg and moves to side mount and transitions to full mount. Jake throws strikes, waiting for Daley to make a mistake. Shields attempts an armbar and Daley reverses, landing in his guard. Daley lands elbows to end the round.

R2 – Daley lands a left that sends Shields back. Jake counters with a takedown attempt but Daley defends. A subsequent takedown attempt is defended as well. Shields clinches and finally gets the British fighter down, landing in full mount. Shields bides his time and eventually secures an armbar, forcing Daley to tap.

-Andrei Arlovski vs. Roy Nelson

R1 – Nelson comes in with jabs early and they clinch against the fence. Arlovski goes for a trip and Nelson reverses, landing in his guard. Nelson moves to side mount and attempts a keylock. Andrei defends and Nelson transitions to north-south position. Arlovski momentarily gets half guard again but Nelson moves to side mount. The ref stands the two fighters up. Roy pushes Andrei up against the fence and Arlovski lands a short knee. The ref breaks them up again. Arlovski more aggressive with his strikes now, landing low kicks and straight punches. The round ends with the two fighters clinched against the fence again.

R2 – Nelson stuns Arlovski early on and the two clinch against the cage. Nelson looks a bit winded and Andrei begins to land combos. A straight right hand drops Nelson and the ref steps in to halt the fight. Nelson is visibly upset about the stoppage after he gets up.

-Gina Carano vs. Kelly Kobold

R1 – Kobold clinches early, trying to take Carano to the mat. They finally break free and Carano charges in with strikes. Kobold doesn’t back down and exchanges. Kobold presses Carano to the fence and attempts a single leg but Gina defends well. Round ends with an exchange.

R2 – Carano stuns Kobold with a right hand and the two clinch. Kelly is aggressive against the fence, landing a few hooks. The fight returns the center of the cage and Carano begins to use her reach advantage, landing jabs. Kobold finally gets Carano down, utilizes some ground-n-pound as the round ends.

R3 – Kobold goes for a double immediately and stomps on Gina’s feet against the fence. The ref puts the fighters back to the center and Kobold comes back aggressively. Gina lands a jumping knee and two clinch against the fence again. Carano almost secures a standing choke but Kobold eventually escapes. Carano finishes the fight strong with four unanswered kicks.

-Benji Radach vs. Murilo “Ninja” Rua
R1 – Fighters showing respect early, Radach stuns Ninja with a left. Both fighters are slugging it out. Rua and Radach knock each other down and they gradually get up to clinch. Radach gets Rua down into half guard. The Chute Boxe fighter attempts a heel hook but Benji escapes. After a second failed heel hook attempt, Rua takes Radach’s back but time runs out as he attempts a neck crank. A very exciting round.

R2 – Rua attempts a flying knee early. Murilo is the aggressor early on, closing in on his opponent. Radach lands a straight right that momentarily stuns Rua. Ninja chasing Radach again, throwing leg kicks. Rua attempts a single leg but Benji defends well. Rua misses with a flying knee and falls to his back. Radach follows up with four big strikes and the ref halts the fight.
