Main Card:

James Thompson vs. Brett Rogers
R1: Thompson charges across the cage to open the fight and works for a takedown. The fighters clinch throughout the first 2 minutes of the round as Thompson tries to work for the takedown. As the fighters separate, Rogers opens up his stand-up and lands a fight ending combination as Thompson crumbles under the pressure.

Yves Edwards vs. Edson Berto
R1: Berto gets an early takedown and after a quick scramble on the ground, tries for a guillotine, but Edwards gets out. Edwards then works for a kimura and transitions into Berto’s guard and works ground and pound. The referee stands the fight back up and Berto immediately shoots for a single leg takedown, but Edwards is able to resist and as he’s holding Berto’s head down, he unloads a jumping knee that finishes the fight.

Scott Smith vs. Kyle Noke
R1: The fighters seem content to stay standing, with Noke using a very effective jab throughout the round, keeping Smith at a distance. Neither fighter gets much of an advantage in the round, but Noke looks more impressive with his boxing in the first round.

R2: The round started and Smith came out much more aggressive and as they exchanged, Scott Smith lands a huge right hand that absolutely floors Noke putting him out for good.

Antonio Silva vs. Ricco Rodriguez
R1: Silva works a solid stand-up campaign early in the round, landing good jabs and hooks throughout the first half of the round. After being tagged one too many times, Rodriguez finally shoots in and takes Silva down, working ground and pound. Not much action on the ground as the round closes.
MMAWeekly scores R1 10-9 for Antonio Silva

R2: Rodriguez shoots for a sloppy takedown, but Silva resists and eventually reverses positions and starts to unload some very heavy shots on the former UFC champ. Rodriguez does a good job of defending, but Silva remains relentless with his attacks. The fight is stopped momentarily to check on a cut over Ricco’s eye. Back into the fight, Silva almost lands an anaconda choke and the round ends.
MMAWeekly scores R2 10-9 for Antonio Silva

R3: Silva gets a quick takedown to start the round and he starts to unload hammer fists on Rodriguez. The fight is stood back up and Rodriguez works hard and gets a takedown on Silva. Ricco works his ground and pound for the remainder of the round. Very close session.
