Eliot Marshall’s return to the UFC didn’t go the way he wanted, but the former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor will get another shot in the Octagon.
Marshall’s management team at Alchemist have confirmed to MMAWeekly.com that the Colorado based fighter will get another shot in the UFC, after stepping up on short notice at UFC 128 to face Luis Cane.
Marshall fell short in the fight with Cane, being finished by TKO in the first round after replacing Karlos Vemola on short notice to return to the UFC.
Overall, Marshall has gone 3-2 in the UFC since his time on the “Ultimate Fighter” season 8. Following his first loss in the Octagon to Vladdy Matyushenko at UFC on Versus 1, Marshall was cut from the promotion.
Marshall fought his way back with 3 straight wins before stepping up to face Cane at UFC 128.
There’s been no official word on when Marshall will return to action, but he will get another shot with the UFC.
