UFC President Dana White announced the bout via Twitter on Sunday.
On his Twitter post, White stated UFC 147 in May, but UFC 146 is the card currently slated to take place in May in Las Vegas with heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos facing Alistair Overeem in the main event.
Edson Barboza returns to action for the first time since his ‘Knockout of the Night’ performance over Terry Etim in his home country of Brazil in January.
Barboza uncorked a spinning wheel kick that floored Etim and even scored him a spot on the ESPN SportsCenter top ten plays of the weekend.
Now the young Brazilian will faces a tested UFC veteran in Evan Dunham.
Following back-to-back losses, Dunham returned to form with wins in his last two fights. Dunham defeated Shamar Bailey and Nik Lentz, and will now hope to put the first loss on Barboza’s record in May.
