A few casinos in Las Vegas have released the early odds for the upcoming UFC 60 card. The Venetian is among the casinos that have put out the first lines for the event, which will take place in Los Angeles on May 27th. Here is how it breaks down.

Royce Gracie +250
Matt Hughes -330
-As expected, Matt Hughes opens as the solid favorite at -330. What this means is that you would have to bet $330 dollars on Hughes to win $100. If you like the underdog, Royce Gracie, then you would have to bet just $100 to win $250.

Assuerio Silva +150
Brandon Vera -180
-Vera opens up as just a slight favorite against Assuerio Silva. Silva will out-weigh Vera in this fight.

Joe Riggs +140
Mike Swick -170
-This is the closest line Mike Swick has ever had in his UFC career. Swick is just a slight favorite over Joe Riggs at this time.

John Alessio +325
Diego Sanchez -450
-This fight was supposed to take place a couple months ago, but Sanchez was so ill that his weight was all the way down to 162 pounds on the week of the fight. Ironically, the betting line is about the same now as it was when it orginially opened a few months ago.

Rick Davis +190
Melvin Guillard -240
-The veteran of The Ultimate Fighter 2 opens as the solid favorite at -240.

Leonard Garcia +250
Spencer Fisher -330
-This will be Fisher’s first fight since his loss against Sam Stout, which was a fight that Spencer took on literally a few days’ notice. Fisher opens up as the solid favorite in this one.

Dean Lister +120
Alessio Sakara -150
-This is the closest fight on the board, according to the oddsmakers. They open with Sakara as a slight favorite against Lister.

Fabiano Scherner +150
Gabriel Gonzaga -180
-It’s Gonzaga who opens up as a small favorite against Scherner in this battle of Brazilian heavyweights.

Chael Sonnen +190
Jeremy Horn -240
-MMAWeekly broke the story a few days ago that Sonnen would be stepping in for Evan Tanner and facing Horn for the third time in his career. It’s not a suprise that the man who has beaten Sonnen on two prior occassions has opened up as the favorite in this fight. Horn opens up at -240 to Sonnen’s +190.
