EA Sports on Friday added to several fighters to the roster of its pending entry into the mixed martial arts gaming genre, “EA Sports MMA.”

All seven additions are currently signed with Strikeforce, which has a heavy presence in the game. Cung Le, Robbie Lawler, Josh Thomson, Gilbert Melendez, Matt Lindland, Scott Smith, and Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza, were the fighters revealed Tuesday afternoon.

Fighters already announced include current UFC fighter Randy Couture, Fedor Emelianenko, Jake Shields, Jason “Mayhem” Miller, Gegard Mousasi, Frank Shamrock, Renato “Babalu” Sobral, Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, Jay Hieron, Nick Thompson, and Brett Rogers.

EA Sports MMA is set for release in summer 2010 for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
