Just hours after the UFC announced their inaugural event for Fox, the first bout has been announced as featherweights Dustin Poirier and Pablo Garza are set to meet.
UFC officials announced the fight on Thursday.
Former WEC fighter Dustin Poirier makes his third appearance in the UFC since moving over the promotion and looks to keep his record flawless since dropping down to featherweight.
His last two fight have seen Poirier dominate former title contender Josh Grispi, as well as pick up a tough win over British banger Jason Young.
Hoping to derail Poirier will be fellow WEC transport Pablo Garza, who looks to add onto his exciting array of finishes of late.
Garza first blasted through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu ace Fredson Paixao with a flying knee at the TUF 12 Finale show, and then launched a flying triangle choke on Yves Jabouin to submit him at UFC 129 in April.
Does Garza have another flying attack prepared for Dustin Poirier? Tune in to Fox on Nov. 12 to find out.
The fight announcement marks the first official bout for the historic debut of the UFC on Fox after the monumental deal was struck and announced earlier in the day on Thursday.
