The Ultimate Fighting Championship will return to Fairfax, Va., in April for UFC Fight Night 63. The promotion announced the event, which will take place at the Patriot Center, on Friday.
The UFC also revealed that Dustin Poirier would face Diego Ferreira on the fight card.
Poirier (16-4) will return to the 155-pound division after spending the last four years competing as a featherweight. He plans to bounce back from his first career knockout loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 178 in his last outing.
Ferreira (11-1) is also coming off a loss. He was defeated for the first time in his career by Beneil Dariush at UFC 179 in October. He made his UFC debut in June 2014, defeating The Ultimate Fighter 16 winner Colton Smith by submission. He knocked out Ramsey Nijem in his second fight inside the Octagon before losing to Dariush.
The Brazilian hopes to start a new winning streak when he faces Pioier in April.
