The Dream bantamweight tournament will come to a close on New Year’s Eve, and the brackets have now been released.
The promotion has also added a welterweight match-up for the end of the year card featuring a Japanese legend vs. a former UFC fighter.
First things first, the bantamweight tournament pairings have been made with former featherweight champion Bibiano Fernades taking on Nova Uniao fighter Rodolfo Marquez Diniz.
The other side of the bracket features former UFC and WEC bantamweight Antonio Banuelos facing Masakazu Imanari.
The two winners will then square off in the Dream bantamweight tournament finals on the same night.
The welterweight match-up added features former top ranked fighter Hayato ‘Mach’ Sakurai against former UFC fighter Ryo Chonan.
Both fighters have seen better days, but they will both look to return to old form when they face off on New Year’s Eve.
Dream’s New Year’s Eve show will air on HDNet in the United States.
