Donald Cerrone and Melvin Guillard at UFC 150Donald Cerrone vs. Rafael dos Anjos is the latest addition to the UFC on Fox Sports 1: Condit vs. Kampmann fight card slated for Aug. 28 in Indianapolis.

IndyStar.com first reported the bout, which UFC officials later confirmed and announced that it would serve as the co-main event to the UFC on FS1 2 headlining bout between Carlos Condit and Martin Kampmann.

Cerrone (20-5) is fresh off of a three-round unanimous decision victory over incoming Strikeforce veteran KJ Noons. Cerrone dominated the fight, especially in the final round.

It was a solid rebound for Cerrone, who suffered only the second knockout loss of his career when Anthony Pettis stopped him in the first round of their fight at UFC on Fox 6 in January.

Riding a four-fight winning streak into the fight with Cerrone, dos Anjos (9-6) has finally ditched the roller coaster ride of his earlier UFC tenure and is rocketing towards title contention.

He is coming off of a victory over Evan Dunham at UFC on FX 7 earlier this year in January.

The winner of Cerrone vs. dos Anjos takes a leap forward in entering his name into the UFC lightweight title mix.

I would prefer the Josh Thomson matchup, but this one is Ok, RDA’s last win was a bulls*** decision, but this should be a fun fight

I Wonder what happened to the Josh Thomson matchup, which would have made more sense ranking wise.. But RDA vs Cerrone should be a better fight..

while i know mmamath isn’t fact, it doesn’t really make sense to have thompson fight cerrone after their respective bouts with diaz.

thinkin thompson deserves his match with gil

Melendez and Thomson won’t fight again unless the title is on the line.. Gil doesn’t want to fight Thomson again

my bad yo, i totally mind blanked on the last part. meant that healy should get his shot at gil. not sure why hearing thompson triggered my response ha.

BJ vs Cerrone is a better fight.

I would rather see BJ fight Melendez, I don’t know if Cerrone would fair to well against Penn.

Wow this is gonna be Cowboys third fight this year. He is one of the most active fighters out there. I like Dos Anjos, he has great skill, a good winning streak, but i think its over for him. Hes going to lose now.
