The highly anticipated debut of Mexican fighter Augusto “Dodger” Montano is finally official.

UFC representatives on Friday announced that Montano would square off with Chris Heatherly in a welterweight showdown at UFC 180: Velasquez vs. Werdum on Nov. 15 in Mexico City. The bout will open up the main card on pay-per-view.

Montano is 13-1, winning all of his bouts by either knockout or submission. The only time he has ever gone to a decision is when he lost to former MFC middleweight champion Sam Alvey.

The Mexican fighter will debut against Heatherly (8-2) lost his Octagon debut, having been submitted by Ben Saunders at the recent UFC Fight Night: Henderson vs. Dos Anjos in Tulsa, Okla.

UFC 180 is headlined by the long-awaited return of heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, who will put his belt on the line against Fabricio Werdum.
