Coming off a huge win at UFC 127 in Australia, German fighter Denis Siver will take on Matt Wiman in his next bout at UFC 132 in July.
The UFC officially announced the fight on Thursday.
Siver has always been seen as a dangerous striker, but taking on George Sotiropoulos in his home country of Australia at UFC 127. Siver showed off crisp striking, but also a new takedown defense as he swept the scorecards picking up a unanimous decision win.
Putting a three fight win streak on the line at UFC 132, Matt Wiman returns to action after dominating Cole Miller in January.
Wiman is a former “Ultimate Fighter” competitor who also holds wins over Mac Danzig and Shane Nelson during his UFC career.
The lightweights are the latest edition to the UFC 132 card which also features Jon Fitch vs. B.J. Penn 2.
