Posted on by BlogAuthor

Anderson Silva and Chris Weidman UFC 162 staredownThe UFC is getting ready to help launch Fox’s all-new sports network, Fox Sports 1, with UFC Fight Night: Shogun vs. Sonnen on Aug. 17 from Boston.

We’re still two weeks away from launch, but UFC president Dana White is pulling out all the stops for the launch, including starting his UFC on Fox Sports 1 video blog early.

Go behind the scenes at UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman, where Chris Weidman upset the man many consider the greatest fighter of all time, Anderson Silva, to capture the UFC middleweight championship.

Dana tried to get a bro hug from Silva and ended up listening to Andersen’s heart beat.

Where are the “he threw the fight” idiots? That was a sad day for fight forums.

Yeah, he got KO’d. Not doubting it. But in the exact round and manner that garnered the highest bookie income possible. Silva all but spells this shite out for fans in multiple interviews – as did Minotauro. But yeah, such subtlety is grasped only by us ‘idiots’ to be sure. I’m not saying definitively whether he did or did not invite the KO, as such cannot be proven. But you’d be slow not to at least scratch your chin.

But hey, you keep on living in your Wonderland Alice. Watch as Silva comes out and dismantles Weidman come Christmas time. That is the month and time when all this will be put to rest one way or the other.

It’s not like Silva hasn’t run under suspicion for playing with cards. Nah. SIlva destroys Franklin in minutes (to lend but one example) … and yet dances with Maia, a far inferior striker, for five full rounds without taking him out. What bookie saw Maia lasting 5 rounds with Silva in the stand-up you ask? Sorry if folks smell foul (even Dana said that one stunk of shenanigans). But it does stink, and you’d have to be deaf, dumb and blind to pretend otherwise.

There’s no way to prove any of this, so yeah, it’s conjecture and conspiracy, but it’s such based on very odd happenstances and very suggestive interviews and priors.

Weidman destroyed the hype train and will repeat performance. First fight he believed he could whoop silva, second fight he knows he can. Weidman beat the greatest mw ever, therefore weidman is now the greatest mw ever.

Right, so I guess werdum is the best heavyweight ever? Matt Serra the best welterweight ever? That makes sense….

      • Denny Swain

Weidman is currently champ, therefore hes the best and thats what makes sense

        • Manuel Lopez

          Agreed.

        • Mike mckinney

I get if you want to say Chris is the best mw right now, but that’s not what you said.
If you got a bit excited that’s fine. Just say so and move on. Don’t change my question.

HA Weidman is the best mw ever? You are dilusional. He hasn’t done anything near what Silva has done. Maybe one day he will but that’s not today.
