The fight between Roger Zapata and Ian Stephens on The Ultimate Fighter 19 Episode 6 ended in one of the most bizarre and controversial decisions, not only on the show, but in the sport.

    So let me get this straight: in an overtime round you essentially get a free pass on one foul serious enough to cause a point deduction. Since they can’t have a draw you win as long as the judges perceive that you would have gotten the round without the point deduction. You might as well nut-shot and grab the fence all round long if it’s going to give you the edge.
