A pair of New Jersey middleweights will meet up at UFC 128 in their home state as Dan Miller has agreed to face Nick Catone in a bout on the card slated to take place on March 19 in Newark, N.J.
After suffering three losses in a row, Miller (13-4) turned things around by winning his last two fights. A submission over John Salter and a decision win over Joe Doerksen put him back on the winning track.
The AMA Fight Club fighter trains in New Jersey along side his brother Jim, who is also expected to compete on the UFC 128 fight card in March.
Carrying similar home state pride into the fight in March will be fellow New Jersey native Catone (8-2), returning to action for the first time in over a year.
The last time Catone stepped into the Octagon, he defeated Jesse Forbes by split decision. He then had to deal with some injuries that kept him out of the cage for the rest of 2010. Now healthy, Catone will look to repeat his last performance and get a win in March.
The bout between Miler and Catone is likely to be part of the untelevised prelims for the UFC 128 fight card in New Jersey.
