Dan Hardy at UFC 111UFC welterweight Dan Hardy has been a staple inside the world famous Octagon since debuting in 2008 at UFC 89.

Over that time, Hardy has endured the highest of highs, and some of the lowest lows this unpredictable sport can provide.  Currently, Hardy is battling a case of Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, which has the fan-friendly scrapper’s career in jeopardy.

In this in-depth interview with MMAWeekly staff writer Ryan McKinnell, “The Outlaw” chronicles some of his favorite career moments, fights he wishes he could have back, and plenty more.

Hardy also addresses the question that if this is, in fact, the end, then what’s next for the 31-year-old.

  • Best of luck to them guy. UFC record aside, he’s a life long martial artist and has heart. No pun intended.

    • King_DG

yeah for sure he’s got the heart of a wolf, no pun intended as well

I’ve always liked watching him fight. He’s an all or nothing type guy. You’ll never see him going for a points win, he’s always looking for the finish. With him, someone is going to drop or tap and he doesn’t seem all that concerned whether its him or not that gets finished. Not tapping to that arm bar GSP had him in took cajones. In that instance he’s lucky it was against GSP and not either Mir or Rousey. If GSP had been willing to break the arm, he’d have finished the fight. But Hard’s aforementioned cajones must be HUGE, and also made of brass

      • I agree. Guy brings it every time. Win or lose I’ve always liked his fights.

  • BobLemons

I really hope he gets a few more fights. Hardy is one of my favourites, even in his losses he is entertaining. Also his adjustments in his last two fights showed great improvements, I was so stoked for his next show..

  • Ray Digga

Wish him the best no matter what…

  • Manuel Lopez

Should have been cut a long time ago. He’s lucky. Nonetheless I hope his health issues improve.

Maybe the most undeserved title shot in ufc history. (after losing that lnp decision, he comes back to get dropped).
Perfect timing, the ufc was expanding in the UK and he got people to hate him with the disrespectfuk crap that came out of his mouth.
