Nate Diaz

Donald ‘Cowboy’ Cerrone and Nate Diaz have not only agreed to meet at UFC 141, but they will garner co-main event status.

UFC officials confirmed the bout on Monday and stated that it will be the co-main event on the card headlined by former champion Brock Lesnar taking on Alistair Overeem.

Cerrone steps right back into action after dominating Dennis Siver over the weekend at UFC 137, while Diaz returns after a submission win over former Pride champion Takanori Gomi.

The bout between Cerrone and Diaz will take co-headline status on the year end card, which takes place Dec 30 in Las Vegas.

Ouch, Fitch getting less and less respect.

Unless I’m wrong and he’s no longer on this card.
I guess you don’t get any respect with that fighting style unless your the champion of that division.

Nate has been the more skilled Diaz for awhile so props to him. Nate and cowboy could be a wild one. Someone’s going to have to wrestle the fight of the night award from those two.

  • That’s a hell of a fight!

  • This is an awesome co-main event!!! I’d buy that ppv. I’m not interested in watching John Fitch.

  • Just the thought of both the Diaz’s getting pounded out of the UFC makes me all fuzzy inside!

  • cerrone by KO on the very 1st round…

That’s funny! When was the last time a Diaz brother was knocked out or submitted in the UFC…… NEVER! This will be a great fight.
