Reporting live from Las Vegas, MMAWeekly caught up with two of the featured fighters in tonight’s World Extreme Cagefighting event airing live on the Versus network.

WEC Welterweight Champion Carlos Condit finally gets to step in the cage and attempt to defend his belt against Brock Larson. The two were originally set to meet at the last WEC in June, but Condit suffered an injury that kept him out of action. While he was sidelined, Larson went on to win a bout against Kevin Knabjan.

In this exclusive interview with MMAWeekly, Condit talked about the injury that kept him out of action and his expectations for tonight’s fight with Larson.

Currently #3 in the MMAWeekly World MMA Rankings, Paulo Filho is making not only his WEC debut, but also his American debut tonight in Las Vegas. Fighting for the vacant middleweight title, Filho steps into the cage with a very experienced Joe Doerksen.

Making his return after an 8-month layoff, Filho discussed his training for the fight, his thoughts on fighting in America, and his association with one of the hottest new training camps in MMA, Black House.

Both interviews are available now In The Cage of MMAWeekly.com’s Premium Members’ section.
