MMAWeekly caught up with Mark Coleman and Dan Henderson in Las Vegas, Nevada as they make final preparations for their fights this weekend. Both men are fighting on Pride’s American debut at the Thomas & Mack Center this Saturday night.
Coleman talks about his longevity in the sport and what it means to be fighting again in America. He also discusses the inspiration that he takes from his first battle with Fedor Emelianenko and how that will help in on Saturday night in their rematch. He had some great insight into the difference in rules that they will have to fight under compared to what they are used to in Japan and how he believes that could make a difference in the fight.
Following a workout with Matt Lindland, Henderson talked about his most recent fight, a close decision loss to Kazuo Misaki, and what he took from that fight in preparation for Vitor Belfort this weekend. Henderson also discusses some of the things that he believes give him an edge against Belfort and what he will do to “break him mentally.”
Both interviews are up now in MMAWeekly TV’s In The Cage. A Premium Membership to access the video footage is only 5 bucks a month and signing up is quick and easy.
