Chris Leben at Ultimate Fight NightChris Leben will return to the Octagon at UFC 155 after a one-year suspension to face Karlos Vemola on Dec 29.

UFC officials announced the fight on Wednesday.

Chris Leben last saw action at UFC 138 in November 2011, losing by TKO to Mark Munoz. Following the fight, Leben was suspended by UFC officials after testing positive for oxycodone and oxymorphone.

It was the second time Leben has been suspended, the first came after a positive test for steroids following a fight against Michael Bisping in 2009.

Now Leben begins his road back with a fight in December against Karlos Vemola at UFC 155.

Vemola will look to get back on a winning track himself after dropping to Francis Carmont at UFC on Fuel TV 4 back in July.

Leben vs. Vemola will be part of the UFC 155 undercard for the show headlined by UFC heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos defending his belt against Cain Velasquez.

Chris Leben needs pyschological help. There is no easy way. Stay clean and train hard… if you lose… fight another day. Oxy’s and Roids will ruin you. Years down the road what is this guy gonna do for the enevitable aches and pains he is going to have?
Maybe I am wrong but Leben seems to have no concern for his future. He is the poster boy for what is wrong in the UFC and in the world. Interested to see how he does though.

I’ve always respected all of your post but there’s just something about this comment and your user name that makes it ironic, lol. But hell yea Chris Leben needs to stay clean; it’s understandable though he’s human, some people fall into that no matter what their doing with themselves. He always puts on a fight and I’m glad he’s back so I hope he’s stronger minded then ever. And you never got on the subject of this article; what are your thoughts on him fitting Karlos

CombatScienceMMA, isn’t interesting how so many people on this site take the time to say stupid things that are not on the subject? Now, on the subject at hand, I too am happy that Leban is back. He always puts on a good fight for the fans. I hope he stays clean this time. :)

Triangle choke, isn’t it ridiculous that you spell the fighter in questions name wrong? Leben is the subject. You didn’t comment on who he is fighting either. Maybe you should stick to facebook where your friends agree with you and your dribble.
This is a brawler match up. Two guys known for their tendency to avoid decisions. Should be interesting but these two are not contenders. Here are two guys making a living fighting. Just concerned Leben is forfeiting his future to put on exciting fights that he often loses.
