The first fight between these two took place in Singapore in May, but ended prematurely when Ngalani found himself on the wrong end of a low blow in the early exchanges and was unable to continue despite being given ten minutes to recover.
It was a disappointing outcome and the closest thing to a blemish on the record of Parry (5-0-1), a former professional basketball player who attracted the attention of ONE FC after winning five fights out of five in England.
Ngalani (1-1-0-1) is a former kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion who burst onto the MMA scene by knocking out Mahmoud Hassan with a spinning heel kick, but was worn down by Paul Cheng in his second fight. Coincidentally, Ngalani’s first two MMA opponents will also be facing each other at ONE FC: War of Dragons.
The other change to the card sees Malaysian Mohamed Haidar replaced by Singaporean Nick Lee in a bantamweight bout with Taiwan’s Sung Ming Yen, which is set for the undercard at the NTU Sports Arena.
