CFA 12 Quick Results: Joshua Sampo Retains Title, Ashlee Evans-Smith Upsets Fallon Fox

Ashlee Evans-SmithCFA 12 took place Saturday, Oct. 12, at the BankUnited Center in Miami, with a full slate of titles on the line.

CFA flyweight champion Joshua Sampo retained his belt in the night’s main event, winning a UD victory over Sam Thao. Ashlee Evans-Smith upset transgender fighter Fallon Fox by TKO stoppage to win the women’s featherweight tournament final.

Valdir Araujo won the vacant CFA welterweight strap with his guillotine choke Sub of Romario Manoel da Silva, and Yoisdenis Cedeno took the SD nod against Torrance Taylor to capture the vacant lightweight title.
