A lightweight bout has been added to the upcoming Strikeforce show on Dec 17 with Caros Fodor taking on Justin Wilcox.
Fodor confirmed the fight to MMAWeekly.com on Wednesday. He first announced the bout on the MMA Show with Mauro Ranallo.
At 6-0, Caros Fodor is one of the top prospects in the lightweight division in Strikeforce. A student of legendary trainer Matt Hume, Fodor has gone 4-0 under the Strikeforce banner thus far and will now move to the big show after four straight bouts on the Challengers series.
Facing Fodor will be American Kickboxing Academy fighter Justin Wilcox, who returns to action for the first time since suffering an eye injury in his bout with JZ Cavalcante earlier this year.
Wilcox is riding a six fight win streak into the bout with Fodor and hopes to build on that when they face off in December.
