    Former UFC “interim” welterweight champion.

    • hugo stiglitz

      Champ is a champ

      • MuayThaiFood

Really, then was GSP challenging him for the belt? Condit isn’t the champ until he beats the champ or he vacates his title. So….he never was the “champ”. That’s why they always make the distinction when they announce a former interim champ.

      • jeremy

He never beat the champ so he was never champ anyways. interim is basically saying number one contender

  • MannyFlesh

why should he be worried about him he can out run anyone in mma aside from Kalib Starnes

    • Aqstog

      Your an idiot

      • George Sperry

        You’re an idiot.

    • Heathcliff

He might even be a good addition to the us 4 by 100 relay olympic squad!lol

    • Oswald Cobblepott

Condit will smack him around like he did Diaz.

      • WhiteboyJJ

And what fantasy world did you come from? Or is it just a man crush for Condit?

  • Trevor

Condit wins, GSP wins…..and that leaves us a rematch. Not saying that’s what I want but that’s what I think happens. Diaz will look real frustrated and have a tantrum and Johnny minus that one punch isn’t worrisome.

    • natpaukar7

totally agreed…has anyone seen the odds?? on most or all bet lines condit is a 2-1 underdog…? I am unsure of the rationale behind this?

    • Supaman

you must not realize that Johny Hendricks is a bigtime wrestler. He could choose to take down Carlos and lnp.

  • Cuban VooDoo

My pics- NIck wins, Carlos wins, ellenberger wins…nick vs carlos rematch

    • Rory

I agree, and I’d also like to see jordan mein beat miller!

    • Robby Clark

I got GSP, Carlos, Ellenberger.. That’s more who I want to take the fights.. I like Diaz a lot, so I would be happy for him if he won, but GSP has something special, and being able to be so dominant beating the top guys for so long is just something that’s sad to see ever end.

  • lately it seems, leg kick and move is the fight style being employed the most. I prefer an attempt to actually whoop your opponent’s ass as opposed to just scoring points. I am just a fan, with no basis for my opinion other than what i prefer to watch.

    • Lucas Freire

Yeah,I guess so. For you it doesn’t matter who wins and who loses, you just want to see a good fight.
Unfortunately losing is not an alternative the UFC gives to 99% of the fighters.

  • diazfan209

Hendricks needs to beat Condit with ease so GSP can’t pull the “I don’t think he actually beat him” defense…… though if Nick wins I’d imagine GSP getting the immediate rematch & Hendricks having to wait (hoping that happens!)

  • Hugh Shakeshaft

Condit is a tier above Fitch and Kampmann. This will show us what Hendricks is really made of. If Hendricks wins, I see him beating GSP. If Hendricks loses, I see Condit beating GSP second time around. GSP is on the back end of his arc as a fighter.

  • laleggenda27

Title is wrong. Carlos said that he is concerned and aware, but not worried. As to the fight, I think that Condit wins this one fairly easily. There may be a scary moment or two for him, but his footwork and technique will probably outclass Hendricks on the feet.
