Cagewarriors and TWC Announce TV dates for Weekend beginning 3rd of February.
January 31st 2006 – Cagewarriors are proud to announce that our friends at TWC (Sky Channel) 427 will be delivering a double dose of Cagewarriors action this weekend as they plan to show both Cagewarriors 7: Showdown from May 2004 and our premier branded event Cagewarriors Strike Force 2 from July 2005.
Both shows feature a mix of exciting action and plenty of title fights and surprises as well as a few UK MMA firsts which were talked about heavily at the time.
The action starts with Cagewarriors 7 on Friday 3rd February at 8pm as TWC dig into the archives to bring you action from the Barnsley Metrodome. This show had a much talked about “World first” as well as a fight which many fans still say is one of the best in CWFC history.
It featured such fighters as Matt Ewin, Gregory Bouchelaghem, Paul “Semtex” Daley, Gerald “The Finishing Machine” Strebendt (UFC vet), Tengiz “The Barnsley Gladiator” Tedoradze and a Main Event consisting of a CWFC Featherweight Title clash between Emmanuel Fernandez and Ian “M16” Butlin.
Whilst on Sunday 5th February, TWC will show Cagewarriors Strike Force 2 from the Skydome Arena, as part of there “Supercard Sunday” series. Starting at 8pm and shown in its entirety, TWC will show the UK vs. the World Series from July 2005. This red hot summer show featured 3 CWFC Title fights and had an unforgettable encounter between the 170kg Zuluzinho and Rafal Dabrowski from Poland.
It also included such stars as Michael “The Count” Bisping, Martin Kampmann, Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy, Matt Ewin and UFC veteran Leigh Remedios as well as many more.

TWC is available on Sky Channel 427 and can also be picked up for free throughout most of Europe. The channel is available free-to-air on Eurobird 1 (28.5° East). All you need is a dish pointed at 28.5 degress East, and any digital satellite receiver to decode the signal. It’s labelled ‘Wrestling Chnl’ 11260V SR27500 FEC2/3 – SID 52155, VPID 2313, APID 2314.
