Cage Warriors: Enter the Rough House 2
Saturday 28th April 2006
Harvey Hadden Sports Centre, Wigman Road, Nottingham, NG8 4PB
Cage Warriors President Dougie Truman and Warrior Promotions are proud to announce the second edition of their “Enter The Rough House” series which is due to take place at the Harvey Hadden Centre in Nottingham, England on Saturday 28th April 2007.
This show follows on from the overwhelming success of the first “Enter The Rough House” show in December 2006, which saw a sell out crowd watch Pride FC veteran Gegard Mousasi and local star Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy walk away with CWFC World Title belts in an entertaining and exciting 11 bout show, which received rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
The second show will see the Cage Warriors team once again showcase fighters from Nottingham’s own Team Rough House and the Tap or Snap/Derby Shoot gym. However there will also be 3 CWFC World Title bouts and several other explosive encounters inside the 32ft CWFC octagonal cage.
Already local favorites such as Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy, Wayne Buck and Christian Smith are confirmed to fight and will do battle alongside other Cage Warriors veterans such as Ian “M-16” Butlin and the CWFC Featherweight Champion Danny Batten.
However the Cage Warriors team are pleased to announce the following confirmed bouts which sees the CWFC Bantamweight Champion Paul “Metabolic” McVeigh defend his Title against the unbeaten UFR Fight Team member Steve “Taz” McCombe. McVeigh is known for his aggressive high-tempo displays and is unbeaten at this weight. Whilst McCombe has climbed the ladder on the UFR circuit and faces his toughest test yet against the Scottish based Irishman.
Also in action is the CW Strike Force and Cage Rage veteran Alex Cook who heads a 4 man Wolfslair Academy team in Nottingham. He faces the latest French sensation Karl “Psycho” Amoussou.
Another confirmed bout sees the Leicester based Rough House fighter Jim Wallhead return to action when he faces another Midlands based grappler in the form of Mick Broster from F’s Freestyle Gym.
