The Cage Force lightweight and welterweight tournament finals were held at the promotion’s event on Saturday in Tokyo. Artur Oumakhanov walked out with the win at lightweight, while Yoshiyuki Yoshida won the welterweight final, but left on a stretcher.

Oumakhanov handed Koutetsu Boku – who many consider to be one of the top lightweight fighters in the world – his first loss in more than four years, defeating the Japanese fighter by majority decision in the lightweight tournament final.

In the welterweight final, Brit Dan Hardy opened the second round with a low-kick that caught Yoshida in the groin. Just four seconds into the round, the ringside doctor stopped the fight and Hardy was disqualified, handing the win to Yoshida.

The loss for Hardy ended a five-fight victory streak. Yoshida improved to 9-2 as a professional, increasing his own string of wins to eight.
