Eric Esch who is better known throughout the world as Butterbean and the “King of the 4 rounders” will headline the first ever Palace Fighting Championship Mixed Martial Arts event at the Tachi Hotel and Casino on January 18th in Lemoore.
Butterbean is slated to take on a rather large man in his own right. Professional boxer ‘Lil Sal of Ensenada, Mexico comes into this bout at over 290 pounds ready to trade blows in a 3-round super heavyweight bout on the 10-bout mixed martial arts card that features some of the best local talent in Central California.
“These all promise to be exciting aggressive MMA fights, and for those that are used to shows we produced, promoted, co-promoted in the past know we always aim to give a show that transcends just fights,” Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino Entertainment Director Christian Printup said. “We’ll give you a show that captures all of your senses. Guaranteed.”
The fights are slated to get under way at 6:30 p.m. and the doors open at 5:30 p.m. at the multi-purpose bingo hall, which is located on the third floor. It’s important to let everyone know the event is limited to those 21 and up.
“The PFC will encourage aggressive stand up fights through a generous bonus structure to the athletes as well as the PFC ring, which definitely promotes a healthy dose of striking action,” Printup said. “Non-championship fights are three, 3 minute rounds and championship fights are five, 3 minute rounds. There’s less time to waste and more time to get it on.”
Tickets are priced at very friendly prices: $20, $30 and $40. You can purchase tickets at the Tachi Palace gift shop or by calling 1-866-4-PALACE. Tickets are also available in Fresno at New Era Martial Arts and Pacific martial Arts and in Hanford at the Valley Fight Club.
