K-1 and Pro Elite made a huge announcement earlier this week that they will be co-promoting an event on June 2nd at the 92,000-seat Los Angeles Coliseum. The event will include the legendary Royce Gracie, former pro football player Johnnie Morton, and a main event featuring Brock Lesnar vs. Hong Man Choi.

MMAWeekly was able to catch up with Lesnar to get his thoughts on the fight with Choi. “He’s a big guy, he’s got a big head, which makes for a big target,” said Lesnar.

Not only did Lesnar discuss the fight with Choi, which will be his mixed martial arts debut, but he discussed his training, what he thinks his experiences in pro wrestling and football bring to the fight game, and more importantly what his experience as an NCAA wrestling champion adds to his skills. We were even able to get his thoughts on whether he felt fellow pro wrestler Bill Goldberg might ever be persuaded to step into the ring as a mixed martial artist.

The interview with Brock Lesnar is up now, In The Cage on MMAWeekly TV. If you don’t already have membership benefits, it’s quick and easy to sign up to become an MMAWeekly.com Premium Member.
