"Tin Cup" Mo Swings and Misses
MMAInsider was on hand for the 1st Annual MMA Agents Golf Tournament in Fontana, Calif., on Tuesday, as over 20 MMA stars putted in support of MMAWeekly.com founder Ryan Bennett's family.
In attendance was Tito Ortiz, Randy Couture, Anthony Johnson, King Mo, Benji Radach, Sam Stout, Tyson Griffin, Tiki Ghosen, Dominic Cruz, Shannon Gugerty, Dean Lister, War Machine, Phil Baroni, Kimo, Shawn Thompkins, Josh Thomson, Bobby Southworth, Paul Buentello, Jason Lambert, Josh Burkman, Eddie Sanchez, Brian Warren, and Jake O'Brien.
For most, it was their first time on the greens. Was it pretty? No. Was it fun? Yes.
At the end of the day, Tyson Griffin's foursome won the tournament, Tiki Ghosen's team came in second place, and Tito Ortiz's crew came in third.
Tyson Griffin also won the long drive competition. In his first day of golf, he out-drove everyone with a 335 yard drive. After fighting, he may just have a second career in the PGA.
Bellator FC matchmaker Matt Stansell was the lone casualty of the tournament. He walked in front of a teammate's swing and was struck under the eye by a golfball. He was in good spirits by Tuesday night.
Here's a clip of Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal on the course:

Frank Trigg Looking for a Nanny...
Frank Trigg's baby boy was born on Sept. 2 at 8:12 p.m. His name is Stone James Bennett Trigg, named partially after MMAWeekly.com founder Ryan Bennett. Bennett was a close friend of Trigg's and helped the fighter break into broadcasting.
Trigg's wife, Nici, has gone back to work and with their conflicting work schedules, the Trigg family is looking to hire a nanny. "We're in the process of hiring a nanny full-time. That's one of the things that we have to do next," Trigg told MMAInsider Blog. "Nic and I have such opposite schedules. We have a lot of stuff to do all the time, so you have to have somebody here to kind of help out with the kid."
Before you apply for the position, Trigg isn't just taking anyone. Your credentials have to include being bi-lingual, a degree in child psychology and versed in child CPR.
" You have to be able to speak two languages. You have to be educated," said Trigg. "And you have to take child psychology and child CPR classes to qualify."Labels: Frank Trigg, Ryan Bennett
