Kimbo Slice Makes Acting Debut with Drake and Josh on Nick

His mixed martial arts career may have been cut off at the legs with the apparent demise of EliteXC, but Kevin "Kimbo Slice" Ferguson will still manage to grace a television screen near you... and soon.

No, Kimbo hasn't yet struck a deal to appear on Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter." That may be - as UFC president Dana White says - Kimbo's only entrance into the Octagon, but it's not his only route to TV.

If you have kids under the age of 15 in your household - or if you just like to indulge in a little Sponge Bob when nobody's watching - you probably already know that Kimbo makes his official acting debut in Nickelodeon's "Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh."

Kimbo portrays "Bludge" in the holiday special, a bully character that you don't know whether he's going to "smash somebody or if he's going to give you a hug and a kiss." Bludge actually helps Drake and Josh keep a promise they made to a family of foster children.

According to his behind the scenes interview on Nick.com, Kimbo hit it off well with Drake & Josh star Josh Peck, who apparently took Kimbo under his wing for the former EliteXC fighter's acting debut.

"Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh" premiers Friday, Dec. 5 on Nickelodeon.

OK, let me get this straight, we have Kimbo who has close ties to the pornography production company RealityKings guest appearing on a Nickelodeon Christmas special. Are we really suppose to let our kids watch this and have Kimbo become one of their idols? Why cant this guy just go way?

What are you whining about? It's not like they're going to be advertising porn on Nick, so why complain? If you raise your kids properly, they won't even know who Kimbo is at that age.

Kimbo Slice lol wtf ever, he shouldn't he only goes to where they put the cash in front of him. Smart yes, but if he is going to do this he shouldnt fight because he has not done anything with fighting especially to the point where he is doing tv. I agree with the first guy Kevin Ferguson needs to stay exactly that and Kimbo needs to disappear. As far as Nicholas if you raise your kids properly they won't go out and fight so whats it matter if they know who he is?

Its funny how peoples first line of defense is "if you raise your kids properly". What a crock, kids rebel and do what they want to do because they think they know better. Childrens programming is no place for someone like Kimbo.
