Sylvia In Talks With Dream and Sengoku
 Former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia might be making another big move soon--to the land of the Rising Sun.
Sylvia's manager, Monte Cox, confirmed to MMAInsider that Japanese promotions Dream and Sengoku have expressed interest in importing the tree-limbed fighter. No agreements have been signed, but negotiations are ongoing.
Sylvia's non-exclusive deal with Affliction allows the move, although Cox says he would also like to see Sylvia face off with Paul Buentello or Roy Nelson on Affliction's January card--i.e., someone a little less lofty than Fedor Emelianenko--to lay the groundwork for a comeback.
Save for a few marquee names, Dream and Sengoku's heavyweight divisions are paper thin. If Sylvia's in the mood for sushi, he might do some serious damage in Japan.Labels: Dream, Monte Cox, Paul Buentello, Roy Nelson, Sengoku, Tim Sylvia, UFC

Sylvia is a joke. He is a has been and will never win against any top teir fighters. He might as well just retire or go to Japan and hopefully get some wins against that weak crop of fighters over there.
he should fight barnett in sengkou. then he'll have lost to all the top heavyweights.
I like how that one fool said Japan had a weak crop of fighters. Personally, I like to educate myself on topics before running my mouth. Last time I checked Sylvia beat down Arlovski twice. A really weak fighter named Fedor was the king of a Japanese org, that included guys like Shogun, Nog, Wand, Anderson Silva, Rampage and many more. But yeah, sure.
I heard Affliction was trying to make a fight for Sylvia vs JLB (Jerome LeBanner for newbs like that idiot). I REALLY HOPE this happens. JLB has been calling out Sylvia for years, and he'd show mainstream American idiots what real professional striking is.
Hows that PRIDE crop looking now idiot. No one cares who used to be in Japan. He isnt time traveling back 5 years and going to Japan.
