Anderson Silva is clearly determined to not let a pesky broken leg stop him.

The former UFC middleweight champ posted a video of him working on a heavy bag, at the very end he throws a kick with the same leg that snapped in half against Chris Weidman at UFC 168 in December 2013.

That’s some jaw-dropping recovery time, folks.

He looks absolutely huge. Never seen him so big. Weight cut will be a b!tch.

    • Booboo

You’re dumb if you think he won’t diet ahead of a fight. jon jones gets very big when he doesn’t have a fight scheduled he almost weighs 235 between camps but when it’s time the weight comes off easy. Same goes for Anderson they are both very professional athletes at the highest level

Who is the dumb one??? He never said he wouldn’t cut. He said CUTTING WIEGHT MUST BE A BITCH!!! Sfbs…

      • Diago

        You’re the moron.

      • Ron

Everybody knows that..he was just saying it will be tough..duh.

That’s not a kick??? Very little pressure going high on the body bag. Impressive yes….. Butlers see a low kick with just the chin!! Then I’ll be really impressed!!

Jaw-dropping recovery… and some high-level chemistry. Steroids and/or HGH. Speeds up recovery big-time.
Not that there’s a problem with that, you can get steroids after serious accidents etc. too. It’s just this is not the miracle the article tries to make it look like.

He should’ve known better than to go all in on that kick in the second fight. In the first fight the only thing he hurt weidman with was the leg kicks, so he worked diligently on leg kick defense. Silva’s corner should’ve recognized this and had him faking the leg kick then going to the head and he would’ve put weidman down with ease.

here’s a story, I was 38 year’s old riding my bmx bike with my son at the skatepark. aired it on the half pipe, came down landed wrong, and broke my tibia and fibula. had the same surgery, the same rode, the same three screws in my leg as he does. same exact place. I was working 6 weeks later. walking at work on a concrete floor 9 hours a day. rideing my bicycle through the woods getting six foot air. its not a big deal people he’s not Superman!!!!!

    • Blah Blah

Listen dummy, it’s not about being superman. If he was superman he wouldn’t have snapped it to begin with. The amazing part of the story is that he’s back up on the horse. It’s not about how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. So keep your negative s–t talk to yourself, and go f–k yourself on your training wheels. loser.

haha…so brutal but I agree with the sentiment…Silva is a true badass for being willing to get back on that horse….soooooo interested to see what he does

can’t wait for his next fight!

  • ShinzoAbeisGay

hope he fights Weidman again so Weidman can break that leg again AND break the steel rod that’ in the leg.
