Los Angeles-based Bellator Fighting Championships will set up its tent in Connecticut for the second round of its 12-week tournament, according to a press released issued by the promotion on Friday.
The giant casino and entertainment complex Mohegan Sun will host the April 10 event, which airs April 11 on ESPN Deportes.
Bellator’s inaugural event is set for April 3 at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino.
The second round of the tournament focuses on the welterweight division, with former UFC middleweight champion Dave Menne making his promotional debut at 170lbs. Former EliteXC featherweight champion Wilson Reis will also make his first appearance.
Featherweight – Wilson Reis vs. Henry Martinez
Lightweight – Thomas Schulte vs. Ivan Iberico
Welterweight – Lyman Good vs. Hector Urbina
Welterweight – Jorge Ortiz vs. Aaron Romero
Welterweight – Dave Menne vs. Norman Paraisy
Welterweight – Omar De La Cruz vs. Victor Meza
Undercard bouts for the event have yet to be announced.
