Bellator’s fourth season has come to a close, but just as it did, the promotion started to garner some momentum with its new broadcast partner MTV2. The promotion on Saturday pulled in an average audience of 264,000 viewers for Bellator 45, it was the promotion’s second highest TV rating of the season.

After a season of rollercoaster ratings, Bellator 44 drew 325,000 viewers for its initial telecast, which likely led to Saturday’s strong viewership for Bellator 45, which featured a light heavyweight championship and Season 4’s featherweight finals.
Not only was the viewership solid, the network received some excellent results in regards to key advertiser demographics. Bellator 45 did even better than Bellator 44, delivering season high ratings with Men 18-34 and Men 18-49. It also set a record for the highest rating amongst Men 18-49 in MTV2’s history.
Bellator’s Season 4 averaged 215,000 viewers per episode, which marks a 16-percent increase in its timeslot on MTV2.
