what i hate about seeing these paydays is that i have to agree. Yes it was a lackluster main event but how many people tuned in cause they saw the name tito?. Again he may have paved the way for a few other fighters that had good nights so was he worth 300g…. not to me but im not the one in charge there.

As far as mma paychecks go, he’s not worth that much at all. Velasquez earns about 250 same as Jon Jones. Weidman earns 200 I think. All the people going for those titles earn about 100g. Now hears my problem with titos pay cheque. He is nowhere near as good as any of those fighters. He doesn’t have it any more. He never had it really. He beat a load of cans until chuck showed us all how bad tito is. The worst part about his pay grade however is that now he earns that, all we’re going to hear is. “I’m the best, I fight for my fans, I’m the best I’ve ever felt, I’m dangerous to anyone right now” and it’s all crap. He’s in a 3rd rate company. Tito thinks so much of himself however, he will never realise this as, tito is titos biggest fan.

        Well said!

the real question is how many people would’ve tuned in if it was actually a ppv?

  • Joe

I’m surprised no one is bitching about the pro fighter who only made $1500. I guess that kind of talk is reserved for the UFC only.

  • Darin

No wonder Tito said he’d fight Bonnar again

  • TRT-rex

Good for him. But the articl headlines should say “Bellator pay multiple fighters $1500 to fight, how do they afford rent?”

    • taylor2008

I hate to correct you but most got paid a whopping $2K! All that training for $2k?

  • taylor2008

Both of them looked horrible! Especially Bonnar. They both need to retire. Bonnar looked like a robot out there.

Wow I bet King Mo is really pissed now. He felt disrespected by the love for Rampage but I’d be really pissed if I found out Tito made 300k and I only made 10k. These pay rates are
all over the place. Multiple fighters making 1500-2000 is disgusting and then their champ Chandler only making 25k.

I also can’t believe Melvin Manhoef is only making 10k, he must be hard up for cash
