- SLIGHT DIP, BUT TUF HOLDS UP AGAINST WORLD SERIES
Thursday, October 29, 2009 - by MMAWeekly.com Staff

Despite heavy competition from Major League Baseball’s World Series, The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights continues to draw well for the Ultimate Fighting Championship and Spike TV.
This week’s Episode 7 dipped to 2.5 million viewers, just slightly south of the series’ past three weeks of 2.8 million viewers per episode, but remained strong in its key advertiser demographics.
According to Spike TV officials, Episode 7 clocked in once again as the number one rated show with Men 18-34 and Men 18-49 for cable television, and was also the number two rated show in those demographics in the 10:00-11:00 p.m. timeslot in all of television, behind the World Series.
