Both fighters returning from losses in their most recent bouts, Rob Kimmons and Joe Vedepo have verbally agreed to face each other at UFC Fight Night 18 on April 1 in Nashville, Tenn. Bout agreements have yet to be signed. Sources close to Kimmons confirmed the bout to MMAWeekly.com on Tuesday.

Kimmons was successful in his UFC debut defeating Rob Yundt at The Ultimate Fighter 7 Finale in June of 2008. He tasted his first defeat in the Octagon at UFC Fight Night 15 in Omaha, Neb., being submitted by former IFL middleweight champion Dan Miller.

Suffering a highlight reel knockout via head kick, Vedepo is looking to erase the loss to Alessio Sakara, also in Omaha, in his second start in the UFC.

Although UFC Fight Night 18 has yet to be officially announced by the promotion, the event is no April Fool's joke, marking the UFC's debut in the Volunteer State.
