At the start of the show you see a lot of the guys giving me my due from the fight with Junie. Before my fight I asked some of the blue team who their best fighter was and they told me Junie. He is very athletic, but more so than just showing that he isn't invincible, I think I showed that I am a little better than they thought. I fought Junie at his game and almost beat him. That tells you one thing for sure; George Roop is much tougher than the coaches gave him credit for. We had a stand-up fight and it always looks awkward when two bean poles fight each other. I think my fight really actually elevated George Roop's stock.

You then see the altercation with Vinny and Nog. The altercation had nothing to do with Vinny's conversation with Mir, but with what he was saying around the house. I heard with my own ears Vinny say that Nog didn't have high level jiu-jitsu and neither did his assistant coach, Daniel Valverde. This angered me. Vinny was one of the main guys that was causing me so much B.S. about my Black Belt. He had the worst ego that I have ever seen. When he spoke about others he would almost always have something negative to say.

Now he was acting like Daniel and Nog were not world-class guys. Let me tell you, I rolled with and saw those two roll with the whole team. Daniel for example would kill all of us inside of one minute, easily. I've done seminars and privates with lots of Black Belts and these two are two of the best. I've traveled twice since the show to train with Daniel; he's an amazing jiu-jitsu coach.

As far as the tightness you see with the red team, a lot of aspects of it were true. We did help each other in training and we enjoyed our meals with the coaches. There was some talking here and there behind people's backs. One time I saw some guys talking about Jules' ground game in front of the blue team and I thought that it was out of line. However, you end up saying a lot of things when you're in a house with no other outlets out of boredom as much as anything.

For the most part, compared to the blue team, we were a family. Just remember, families aren't perfect. If I could be like anyone in the sport as a coach, I would be like Nog. That is what a lot of people are looking for out of a gym is that kind of tightness. Additionally, I'd like to say that the meals were a great way to feel at home again. I'd like to give a shout out to Kyle, Jules and Nover for being incredible cooks. They did the majority of the cooking and it was a lot better than what I could make.

As far as the fight is concerned, we all new the announcement beforehand. This was how we would have picked it. It's too bad that Jules didn't get to implement his gameplan. His only way to defeat the better jiu-jitsu fighter was to be a bull. However, he let Vinny gain confidence in the fight and when under fire took a takedown. Jules was definitely one of the stronger fighters on the weights and athletic. With some more training he could be a bull in the cage. Vinny showed again that he is one dimensional, but damn that one dimension is solid.

Next week we will see some interesting special sauce in the fruit salad. The fascination with pee on TUF is starting to disturb me!
