It was an odd night at UFC 90 just outside of Chicago in Rosemont, Ill. where Anderson Silva successfully defended his UFC middleweight championship when challenger Patrick Cote went down in the third round having blown out his knee.

Two of the top contenders in the welterweight division went head-to-head with Thiago Alves outlasting Josh Koscheck en route to a unanimous decision victory. Alves is now queued up for a shot at the UFC welterweight title.

MMAWeekly.com's Ken Pishna was on the scene at the Allstate Arena on Saturday night to capture UFC 90 in pictures in this exclusive UFC 90 photo gallery.
