MMAWeekly was on location from the Target Center in Minneapolis
for UFC 87: "Seek and Destroy" weigh-ins where all fighters made
weight.
No. 1 ranked welterweight Georges "Rush" St. Pierre
headlines the fight card defending his UFC title against second ranked Jon
Fitch.
Addressing the crowd, Fitch stated, "I feel better than
I've ever felt in my entire life. This is the best training camp I've ever had.
In the past six months I've made big strides and gains in my technique. I'm
ready for this fight. The only thing that matters right now is that belt."
St. Pierre commented, "I'm fighting the toughest guy that
I've fought so far. People who know me know I don't fight for the fame. I don't
fight for money. I fight for myself because I love it. I also fight for my
fans. I just got through the best training camp of my life and I'm ready to
rock tomorrow."
Brock Lesnar returns to the Octagon taking on Pride and UFC
veteran Heath Herring, while Roger Huerta and Kenny Florian face off in a
lightweight match that could determine the next contender for BJ Penn's belt.
