All of the fighters that were drug tested following UFC 86 on July 5 in Las Vegas have returned negative results, according to Keith Kizer, the executive director of the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Kizer stated that the athletes tested on July 5 included Forrest Griffin, Quinton Jackson, Melvin Guillard, Justin Buchholtz, Cole Miller, Gabriel Gonzaga, Joe Stevenson and Patrick Cote. The selected fighters were tested for both drugs of abuse and performance enhancing substances.

Forrest Griffin defeated Quinton Jackson by unanimous decision in the evening’s main event, capturing the UFC light heavyweight championship in the process.
