  - UFC OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCES UFC 87: SEEK AND DESTROY

The Ultimate Fighting Championship officially announced UFC 87: Seek and Destroy via their official website, UFC.com, today. The event is scheduled for Aug. 9 at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
UFC 87 will be the organization's first event in Minnesota and is headlined by former NCAA Division I wrestling national champion and pro-wrestling superstar Brock Lesnar against UFC hall-of-famer Mark "The Hammer" Coleman.
It will be Lesnar's second fight in the UFC, coming off a loss in his debut to Frank Mir at UFC 81, and the return of Coleman to the UFC Octagon who last competed in the organization at UFC 18 in 1999.
In the co-main event, top UFC lightweights Kenny "Kenflo" Florian and Roger "El Matador" Huerta square off in a bout that will likely land the winner next in line for a shot at the UFC lightweight title against the winner of BJ Penn and Sean Sherk.
