The
Ultimate Fighting Championship on Thursday held its pre-fight press conference
for Saturday’s UFC 79 featuring a battle between Georges St-Pierre and Matt Hughes
for the interim welterweight title. Also highlighting the card is a bout that
has been years in the making between former UFC champion Chuck Liddell and
former Pride champion Wanderlei Silva.
The press
conference featured comments and a question and answer session with St-Pierre,
Hughes, Liddell, Silva, Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou, and UFC president Dana White.
