- ANDRE DIDA LEAVING CHUTE BOXE

Up-and-coming 155-pound Hero’s fighter Andre "Dida" Amade marks another loss for the Chute Boxe camp since Wanderlei Silva’s leaving.
“My brother (Mauricio ‘Veio’) lives in Canada and he has some contacts and some of his contacts made me an offer to teach mixed martial arts and Muay Thai in Canada,” said Dida. “It’s a very good offer and I cannot deny an opportunity like that.”
He is only 23-years-old, but Dida has had a long career coming from Chute Boxe, and for the first time in his career he will be away from his former team.
"I have talked with Master Rafael Cordeiro and I’ve never seen him so sad with anything. He was disappointed with the news. I consider him as a father, but I have to leave."
His former manager, Master Rudimar Fedrigo got him a two-year contract with the Japanese organization K-1 Hero’s. It’s very difficult to get a long contract with a large organization like Hero’s, especially for non-Japanese fighters. But Fedrigo got the contract for Dida and now this is the only controversial issue about the situation.
"It’s a final decision,” he stated. “I’ll rest a little and wait for the holidays and in January I’ll move to Canada and start this new life project."
