NEWARK, N.J. – On Saturday night, two
winners of the popular reality series “The Ultimate Fighter” will face each
other in the Octagon for the first time since the series began nearly three
years ago.
Those fighters, Rashad Evans and Michael
Bisping, along with the rest of the athletes comprising the Ultimate Fighting
Championship 78 fight card weighed in on Friday at the practice rink at the
Prudential Center where the event will be held.
Everyone made weight and all of the bouts are
now official, but the weigh-ins weren’t without some drama.
Following their fight pose for photographers,
Evans refused to shake hands with Bisping. As a result, the two got into a
heated exchange with Evans shoving the Brit and UFC president Dana White
stepping in to separate them.
