  - PHIL BARONI ARRESTED IN MIAMI, FLA.

According to a report by Sherdog.com, UFC and Pride veteran Phil Baroni was arrested and spent Sunday night in jail in Miami, Fla. He was in Miami over the weekend to shoot a commercial for one of his sponsors.
Information provided by the Miami-Dade County official web site states that Baroni was arrested on April 9, 2007 for one felony count of Threatening a Public Servant and misdemeanor counts for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Officers Without Violence. He was released on a $5,000 bond. A hearing on the matter is scheduled for April 30, 2007.
Baroni’s manager, Ken Pavia, in comments to Sherdog editor Josh Gross, indicated that when details of the incident come to light Baroni will prove to be justified in his actions.
